Whitman outlined her priorities including support on Trade and economic development, food security and addressing the visa backlog at the Kenyan embassy.
Omamo stated that Kenya’s interest is to cooperate with US in the area of green energy, training and capacity building for green transition.
On September 1, Omamo met with H.E. Gen. Bacha Debale, Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
The discussions centred on bilateral issues of mutual interest between Kenya and Ethiopia and the security situation in the Horn of Africa.
