Embakasi Central MP Benjamin Gathiru alias Mejjadonk has clinched the seat for the second time.

Mejjadonk was awarded the certificate by IEBC returning officer Justus Mbithi at Komarock Secondary School tallying centre.

He garnered 48,272 votes against his closet opponent, Jubilee's Samuel Mwangi who got 29375 votes.

Gathiru has won the seat under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party.

His rival Mwangi had conceded defeat on Wednesday before the official winner was declared.
