His campaign trail started at Nanyuki in Laikipia East constituency before heading to Nyahururu in Laikipia West.
He was accompanied by his running mate Rigathi Gachagua, Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetang'ula, Speaker Justin Muturi and former Laikipia Governor Joshua Irungu.
Others were Laikipia Senator John Kinyua, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, Laikipia Woman Rep Cate Waruguru, Jane Kagiri, Marina Munene, Njoroge Chieni, Mugambi Rindiriki, Amin Deddy, among others.
Ruto had on Thursday taken his campaigns to Makueni and Mombasa counties.
