[PHOTOS] Magoha commissions CBC classrooms in Kangemi

The pioneer Grade 6 learners are expected to join junior secondary in January 2023.

• In phase one of the project, 6,500 classes were constructed across the country.

• Private schools are expected to construct 4,000 classrooms.

Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha on Thursday launched a Competency Based Curriculum classroom in Kangemi High School, Kiambu.

The CS has toured various counties and sub counties for the commissioning of the construction of CBC classes.

The pioneer cohort of CBC, currently in Grade 6, is expected to join junior secondary in January 2023.

According to the ministry, 2.57 million students will be enrolled for Grade 7 and Form 1 during the double intake.
