NMS commissions the Ngundu-Kamulu bridge

The project is set to significantly contribute to the economic growth of the area.

Director General Mohamed Badi officiated the commissioning of the Ngundu-Kamulu motorable bridge in  Kasarani sub-county on Wednesday.

The Motorable Bridge is an addition to roads and footpaths constructed by NMS in Kamulu.

Speaking during the event Badi said, that NMS has undertaken a number of development projects that are set to significantly contribute to the economic growth of the area.

"The enhanced road network will facilitate residents with safe and unhindered access to public amenities including the newly constructed Ng'undu-Kamulu level 3 hospital which is also under NMS," Badi stated.

The construction of the project commenced on 21 January 2022.

The bridge, which is designed for both motorized and non-motorized traffic, is one of the 98 projects that were identified and initiated by the NMS Directorate of Roads, Transport and Public works.
