Deputy President William Samoei Ruto on Thursday met with US leaders, entrepreneurs and scholars at the Arizona State University.
During the meeting, they discussed how to re-imagine the economy for inclusive and shared prosperity.
The DP was accompanied by ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi who is also a coalition partner in the Kenya Kwanza alliance.
"Supporting small businesses through training, financing, removing bottle-necks and creating a conducive environment in the sector is the surest way to grow the economy; from the bottom," Ruto said in a tweet.
Deputy President William Ruto took a break from his political campaigns for a 12-day tour to the United States, United Kingdom and Qatar.
