Deputy President William Ruto on Saturday led the Kenya Kwanza Alliance to Embu County as the hunt for vote continues.
Ruto was accompanied by ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula to popularise their Uchumi Kwanza agenda.
They spoke to the people of Kirie in Mbeere North and Kigumo Market in Runyenjes.
The DP said that the construction and rehabilitation of dams such as Thuci, Kamumu and Thabana in Embu County will enhance food production, increase farmers’ earnings and tackle poverty in our country.
"This will be our priority as we tap into the potential of agriculture to ensure food security and grow our economy," Ruto said.
Ruto also commissioned St Faustina Kivue Secondary School’s multipurpose hall funded by the NG-CDF Mbeere North.
The trio was also accompanied by MPs Cecily Mbarire (Nominated), Muriuki Njagagua (Mbeere North), John Muchiri (Manyatta), Eric Muchangi (Runyenjes), Ndindi Nyoro (Kiharu), Kimani Ichung'wah (Kikuyu), Rigathi Gachagua (Mathira), Alice Wahome (Kandara), Kipchumba Murkomen (Elgeyo Marakwet) and former MP Norman Nyagah.
