Deputy President William Ruto on Saturday held a rally at Thiba Grounds in the county of Kirinyaga.

The DP was accompanied by MPs, MCAs and aspirants.
Ruto pointed out that nothing builds cohesion like common prosperity.
"Nothing unites like a thriving economy in which farmers, small businesses and marginalized areas are all included. This is what we are working for, this is what this moment is about. Uchumi Kwanza," he said.
Ruto also dismissed Raila Odinga's presidential bid, saying he doesn't fit the president position.
He also condemned Raila for promising jobless youth the Sh6,000 handout, claiming it was disrespect to the Kenyan youth.
He said that Raila had let down different leaders in the past and nothing can guarantee Kenyans his trust.
