[PHOTOS] Suspect beaten by mob after stealing woman's phone

A suspect was on Thursday cornered after stealing a smartphone along Tom Mboya street near Fire Station in Nairobi.

The thief was beaten up by the angry mob before he managed to escape.

The stolen phone was recovered.

The suspect snatched from a lady who was receiving her call while walking on the normally crowded downtown street.

Tom Mboya Street is no stranger to such rampant theft activities.

Security apparatus should chip in to save the situation that is seemingly getting worse in most streets in Nairobi.
