Health CS Mutahi Kagwe on Wednesday presided over the launch of the National Council of Churches of Kenya(NCCK) Afia Njema program at the Jumuia Hospital Huruma, Nairobi.

The event was attended by NHIF Chairman Lewis Nguyai and General Secretary National Council of Churches of Kenya Rev Canon Chris Kinyanjui.

According to the CS, the initiative intends to transform the Non-Communicable Diseases(NCDs) prevention and control landscape in Kenya as well as bring better and affordable health care services closer to the citizens.
