The traders have been operating along the road for more than three months now.

Speaking to the Star, the traders called on Nairobi Governor Anne Kananu to allocate them a new place where they will be able to trade peacefully without having to worry.

"We as Kangemi traders we urge the Nairobi Governor Ann Kananu to allocate us a new market where will be able to continue with our business peacefully," noted one of the traders.

Most of them were displaced following the demolition of the Kangemi market to pave way for the construction of the Nairobi Expressway.
