Every year since 2018, the Star has picked a Person of the Year, usually an individual but sometimes multiple people who have greatly impacted the country during the year.
And just like the previous years, this year was no different as Kenyans were involved in choosing the Star Person of the Year.
In an event held at the Westwood Hotel, Wambui Nyutu, a lawyer and vice chairperson of the National Cohesion and Integration Commission, was feted the Star Person of the year award.
The Star also shone a light on a select group of women and men who have dedicated their lives to making the lives of others better.
The ceremony was emceed by Radio editor Susan Kimachia and Sports editor Chris Mbaisi.
The event also saw employees who have done an exceptional job throughout the year get awarded with a trophy, a certificate and token for a job well done.
