•The late Zephania was born on August 19, 1959. In 1978 he was admitted into the faculty of medicine where he pursued medicine and surgery in the University of Nairobi.
•He was enlisted in the National Police Service on October, 7, 1989 as a cadet Inspector and undertook his initial training course at NPS college at Kiganjo.
Family friends and colleagues of the late National Police Surgeon Zephaniah Kamau on Thursday gathered at the All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi to pay their final respects.
Zephaniah worked as a senior Assistant Director Medical Service at the National Police Service..
He will be buried in his village home in Murang'a County on Saturday.

He was enlisted in the National Police Service on October, 7, 1989 as a cadet Inspector and undertook his initial training course at NPS college at Kiganjo.
Upon completion, he was posted at Nairobi as a police doctor.
Zephania was promoted to the rank of commissioner of police, a rank he held till demise in line with the medical career.
The late Zephania was a senior assistant director medical service, a rank he was awarded by the public service commission on October 22, 2008.
