Nairobi County officers on Thursday engaged in running battles with boda boda riders along Kenyatta Avenue, a situation that turned chaotic.
The riders were complaining about the harassments they face from the county officers.
Speaking to Kevin Ochieng, one of the riders, he complained of harassment by the officers over their business operations in the CBD.
He said he prefers the County government to develop a plan and strategy to accommodate them in specific points in order to stop the unending battles.
"Despite this being our daily source of income, we demand to be heard as we play a major role in our economy," Ochieng said.
Normal operations on the busy road were altered for a while as stone throwers suited the battle by both parties involved.
The Kanjo officers managed to control the situation with tear gas canisters.
