[PHOTOS] Muslims in Kenya protest against Israel attack on Gaza strip

Hundreds of Muslim faithful came out on Thursday to protest against the ongoing Israeli bombing of Gaza..

The protest started in the South C area.

The group started their protest after Eid-ul-Fitr's prayers in South C but were dispersed by police using tear gas.

The conflict between the two countries began on Monday and has led to the death of more than 80 Palestinians and hundreds are nursing injuries.

According to the published article by BBC on Thursday, at least 17 children are among the dead.

The article also says that the Israeli military says Hamas and other Palestinian militant groups have launched more than 1,500 rockets towards Israel.

The conflict between Israel and Palestine has been going on for decades, and non is willing to draw back.

Among the areas that have been the center of conflict include Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem.

UN secretary-general António Guterres said that he is concerned by the ongoing war between the two nations and called for calm and peace.

The ICC Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda also said that the court is closely monitoring the ongoing attacks.

“I note with great concern the escalation of violence in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, as well as in and around Gaza,” Bensouda said.
