There was heavy traffic after a lorry ferrying flour from Thika to Nairobi was involved in an accident after hitting two saloon vehicles along Thika Road around Hakairu bridge on  Wednesday.

Witness John Kariuki, a bodaboda driver, said the lorry was speeding and lost control.

Victims sustained minor injuries.

Enforcement from Ruiru police station arrived and dispersed the crowd.
