President William Ruto on Wednesday met with members of the UN High-Level Advisory Board on Effective Multilateralism.

They were led by the former President of Liberia Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.

Ruto said the effective multilateralism will ensure equality in security, resource allocation and the opportunity for all to participate in decision making.

He pointed out that the ongoing talks on climate change and regional security are important, as they call for commitment.

"The conversation about a new world order is real. We are having a similar discourse in Kenya about climate change and its effects," he said.

"We must all engage in this talk."

He said that Kenya will support efforts of the UN Secretary General António Guterres to establish a system where governments work together to achieve global goals.
