Comedian Fred Omondi says he is waiting for Deputy President William Ruto to sponsor his grand wedding.
"I am trying to wait for the money Deputy President William Ruto contributes during church harambees to get to me," he told Word Is yesterday.
"If he gave me just Sh200K, I would do a wedding."
Fred, who is currently single, said the DP gives him hope and requested him to offer some money. "I love the way he has a giving heart, there is no time he is never giving. DP, you are the one holding me back, just cough so that I can wed," he said.
Asked whether he has ever been dumped before, Fred said he normally parts amicably, but "I was once dumped by a woman because I was too social with ladies during my events."
Fred is working on a TV comedy show.
