Arrest warrant issued against MP Alfred Keter over Treasury bills case

The court has issued a warrant of arrest against Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter.This is after the MP failed to appear before a Milimani court for the mention of a case in which he is charged with forging Sh633 Treasury Bills.Chief magistrate Francis Andayi issued the warrant on Thursday.Keter is charged alongside two co-directors of Desai Industries - Madat Chatur and Arthur Sakwa.

The court has issued a warrant of arrest against Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter.

This is after the MP failed to appear before a Milimani court for the mention of a case in which he is charged with forging Sh633 Treasury Bills.

Chief magistrate Francis Andayi issued the warrant on Thursday.

Keter is charged alongside two co-directors of Desai Industries - Madat Chatur and Arthur Sakwa.

Their case will be mentioned on February 14.

The prosecution had lined up 13 witnesses and 16 exhibits.
