Kenya on Wednesday recorded 76 new cases of Covid-19, bringing the country's case load to 255,164 , Health CS Mutahi Kagwe has said.
The CS, in a press briefing, confirmed that this was from a sample size of 4,853, recording a positivity rate of 1.6 per cent.
The cumulative tests stand at 2,839,918.

A total of seven patients are in ICU, out of which six are on ventilatory support.
Also, 50 patients are separately on supplementary oxygen in general wards.
Meanwhile, 32 patients have recovered from the disease out of which 23 were from the Homebased care program while nine were discharged from various health facilities.
Kenya's recoveries now stand at 248,350.
VACCINATION
As of November 30, 2021, a total of 7,175,590 vaccines had so far been administered across the country. Of these, 4,415,756 were partially vaccinated while those fully vaccinated were 2,759,827.
The uptake of the second dose among those who received their first dose was 57 per cent. The proportion of adults fully vaccinated was 10.1 per cen.
