ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi is the best candidate to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta, Emuhaya MP Omboko Milemba has said.

He said those against Mudavadi's candidature in Western should be prepared to be disappointed because a political tsunami is on the way and the region will vote for him as a bloc.

Milemba urged voters in his constituency to elect leaders who can deliver on development, revive the economy and create job opportunities for the youth.

He was speaking at Mumboko Primary School in West Bunyore, Emuhaya subcounty, on Saturday.

Milemba said Kenya is lagging behind because of the politics of manipulation and mistrust among some leaders who want more than they need.

“Mudavadi with his long experience in the ministries of Finance, Agriculture and Local Government, stands a better chance to make this nation proud,” MP said.

Milemba also challenged Education CS George Magoha to allow the registration of new schools, saying this would help decongest public learning institutions.

“Even those big schools that we are proud of have a history. One day they [new school] will be on the national radar,” he said.

He urged the CS not to support upcoming learning institutions.
