In each of the three countries, only a small number of households (typically 20-30%) report that their income is sufficient to cover their daily needs.
This figure was particularly high in Tanzania in October 2020 (42% of households) and particularly low in 2016 (20%).
Uganda, the figure has hovered around 20-25% of households, while in Kenyathe number of households with sufficient income appears to have fallen between 2017 and 2022.
