MPs are set to resume normal sittings today after a month-long recess.
The National Assembly adjourned on June 20, moments after voting to approve the controversial Finance Bill, 2024.
President William Ruto, however, rejected it following heightened protests across the country that saw some youth invade parliament.
Among the issues to be considered are the Finance Bill and the report of the Budget and Appropriations Committee on the supplementary budget in line with the action of the Executive on austerity measures.
Security press briefing
Acting Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja is to hold a press conference today.
The presser has been planned for 9.30 am at his Jogoo House offices.
He is expected to give an update on security matters in the country including planned protests.
Other top security bosses from the Nairobi region will also be in attendance.

A section of protesters are set to continue with their planned protests in Nairobi today.
