Leaders on Saturday converged in Kisumu for a thanksgiving ceremony in honour of Fred Outa, Kenya’s newly appointed Ambassador to Egypt.
Outa was among 29 envoys appointed by President William Ruto last year to different Kenyan foreign missions.
The event was held at Rabuor Primary School in Kisumu.
Present was Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetangula in his capacity as the guest of honour, ICT CS Eliud Owalo and Government Spokesman Isaac Mwaura.
Other leaders present were Kisumu West MP Rosa Buyu and former governors Jack Ranguma and Zacharia Obado.
NG-CDF Board chair Olago Aluoch among other local leaders, chairmen and CEOs of various parastatals and current and former members of Parliament.
The church service was conducted by Archbishop Dr Patrick Ligawa of Church of Christ (CCA).
