Police in Kisii have recovered bhang after a dawn raid at a den in Masosa area.

Kisii Central subcounty police chief Amos Ambasa said they also arrested two suspects.

They are estimated to value at Sh60,000.

Ambasa said they will increase vigilance and will scale up the raids going forward.

"Such raids are going to be common as we move to eradicate this vice, especially among the youth," he said.

He said they have received intelligence that the dealers were now targeting students as they expand the market for the illegal leaves
