A Mombasa-based lawyer has committed suicide after he threw himself from the 10th floor of a government building.
Sammy Anyazwa, 69, died on Wednesday after jumping through the window.
Anyazwa of Anyazwa and Co-company Advocates is said to have gone to conduct some transactions at the land's office located on the 8th floor.
Mombasa OCPD Eliud Arumbi confirmed the mid-morning incident.
Arumbi said the cause of the suicide is still a mystery as the deceased did not leave any note neither had he shown any signs of depression.
The lawyer was pronounced dead on arrival at Pandya hospital where he had been rushed by good samaritans.
His body is being preserved at the Pandya hospital morgue.
