Makueni County Assembly Majority leader Francis Mutuku wants Wiper party to delete his name from aspirants saying he will not take part in the party primaries.

He said he will seek a court order to expunge his name from the list of Wiper party aspirants in order to avert legal suits.

Speaking to The Star at Wote town in Makueni on Wednesday, Mutuku expressed fears that the primaries will be marred by Chaos and subsequent rigging out of “unwanted " MCAs following Kivutha Kibwana's declaration that he will determine who will be elected.

He said Kibwana had a list of preferred candidates that he presented to the Wiper party in exchange of direct nomination when he decamped from Muungano.

"I won't be in the party primaries because I don't want my supporters to be mistreated or injured because some of them have been warned not to participate," he said.

The Kilili/Kalamba ward representative said out of all 12 elected and 7 nominated MCAs in Makueni County Assembly, only four will participate in the Wiper party primaries to be held on Tuesday next week.

He said even though the MCAs had a good relationship with Wiper leadership they were uncomfortable with entrance of Kibwana in the party.

"The chairman David Musila (Senator Kitui) and Vice Chairman Mutula Kilonzo junior (Senator Makueni) called me and told me not to defect but we are not comfortable with the presence of Kibwana in the party," he said.

He went on: “We even discovered that Kibwana had given instructions to other NASA affiliated parties not to accommodate us."

Kibwana has however denied that Wiper had given him direct nomination saying he joined Wiper to unite Kamba leaders and give Kalonzo Musyoka bargaining power in NASA Presidential candidature.

The Governor dismissed those defecting from Wiper as unpopular leaders.

Mutuku who represents Kilili/Kalawamba ward said he will defend his seat on New Democratic Party led by Nairobi based business mogul David Masika.

Masika who will face Kibwana and former Kaiti Mp Gideon Ndambuki in the gubernatorial race said the party supports Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to be named NASA's flag bearer.

Sources within the party told The Star that Mutuku is the Deputy party leader in the newly formed Party in Kalonzo Musyoka's back yard.

The Kalonzo- Kibwana reelection pact signed in February this year has caused jitters among some Wiper leaders who felt Kibwana as an outsider who had come to " spoil " party affairs among them Machakos senator Johnstone Muthama.
