Makueni Deputy Majority leader arrested over demos

Makueni Deputy Majority Leader Francis Mutuku alias Musso has been arrested.

Musso was arrested Thursday afternoon at his home in Kilili over his alleged role in anti-government protests.

He was reportedly arrested for allegedly leading the demonstrations in Emali on Wednesday.

"The reports we are getting is that he is being held in connection with Emali's maandamano," a source aware of the arrest told the Star.

The Wiper leader is being held at Emali police station.
