Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti on Wednesday met with President William Ruto at the State House.
She said her government was fully committed to working with the Kenya Kwanza administration.
Ndeti presented a memorandum to President Ruto, seeking the fast-tracking of various development projects within the county.
"My government is fully committed to working with the National government towards achieving key infrastructure development projects and achieving universal healthcare in Machakos County," she said.
She was accompanied by the County Executive Committee member for Health Daniel M Yumbya.
