Embu residents and some ward representatives have criticised a trip to China by eight MCAs, saying it is a waste of time and money.
Deputy clerk Roselyn Miano said the trip is fully funded by the Chinese government, which invited the MCAs. She said they were invited by the chairman of the standing committee of Jiansu province.
