The Embu MCA, who was elected majority leader says speaker Justus Mate improperly engineered his removal.
He told the Star yesterday that Mate and other leaders had intimidated and induced colleagues to stop supporting him.
Mbeti South MCA Nyaki Muria was elected in controversial polls on December 7 by 25 MCAs, who mostly said they were fed up by majority leader Andrew Musakwa.
However, Mate rejected the elections.
Muria said his supporters will not hold the elections again after Mate advised them against it.
However, Musakwa dismissed the allegations, saying Muria is being funded by a senior county leader to remove him from office.
Mate also denied influencing or intimidating any MCA, saying the legislators are adults who cannot be swayed like children.
