"We intent to plant alongside our partners as many trees as possible. We have aligned ourselves with the climate change mitigations effort," he said.

The government has in the last days increased the call on the need to plant more tree as a way of addressing the issue if climate change.

On Thursdayç First lady Racheal Ruto adopted some parts of the famous Kakamega forest where she planted some trees and urged Kenyans to plant as many trees as possible
