The entire Kenya National Sports Council office retained their seats during the elections at the Nyayo National Stadium Conference Hall.
The Annual General Meeting held on Thursday saw Ndiritu Gikaria retain his position as KNSC chairman for another term. Gikaria garnered 28 votes to floor his only opponent Mary Muriuki who managed 15.
Vanraj Sarvaiya and Charles Nyaberi also retained the positions of vice-chairman and treasurer respectively after being re-elected unopposed.
In the race for two committee members positions, David Ngugi and Lilian Mududa scored 37 and 30 votes respectively to edge out Immaculate Kabutha who garnered 16.
Five officials from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Makadara branch, led by Returning Officer Jesse Cheruiyot Tanui, conducted the election.
Delegates drawn from 38 sports organisations participated in the process including those from athletics, boxing, badminton, baseball, basketball, chess, bowling, cricket, cycling, karate, weightlifting, wrestling, football, handball, hockey and judo.
Other delegates were drawn from table tennis, squash rackets, softball, shooting, rowing and canoe, rugby, life savers, netball, taekwondo, volleyball, scrabble, tug of war, Kenya Universities, wheelchair basketball, deaf, fencing, pool billiards, roll-ball, wood-ball, roller skating, archery and Polo.
Sports Registrar Rose Wasike and Director of Sports Japson Gitonga moderated and observed the event.
