Echo Network Group donates sanitary products to girls in Meru through Red Cross

To be distributed in informal settlements

Echo Network Africa has donated 200 ENA dada packs and seven toto care boxes for teenage mothers to Kenya Red Cross to be distributed in informal settlements in Meru.

The girls will now have four months’ supply of sanitary materials. The products  were received by Red Cross Kenya deputy secretary general Annette Masabeni at Echo Network offices in Nairobi on June 5.

Among those who supported the initiative are Kotex and local philanthropists.

Meru county government's Gender and Development office will also assist in distributing the packages.

To date, ENA has distributed 2,388 packets of sanitary towels, 1, 248 panties, and 55 information guides to 650 girls since 2019
