The National Land Commission has released a list of individuals to be compensated after their land was acquired to build a coal-fired power plant in Kwasasi, Lamu county.
The NLC has approved the list of 675 individuals. NLC boss Muhammad Swazuri yesterday said each land owner will receive Sh800,000 per acre.
