I&M Bank has opened two new branches in Nanyuki and Nairobi, raising the number of its branches to 35.

Speaking at the opening of the I&M Bank Cross Road branch in downtown Nairobi, managing director Kihara Maina said the expansion strategy will complement the bank’s digital banking platforms.

The strategy has been dictated by customer demands, Maina said.

“At I&M Bank Kenya, we mean business and we shall remain responsive to our customer requests in our business growth journey,” he said.

I&M is targeting small and micro enterprise entrepreneurs operating in downtown Nairobi with the new branch, including those based in River Road, Kirinyaga Road and its environs.
