Private university Strathmore wants

to forge deeper ties with various

organisations and industries to help in

continuous

innovation of its curriculum

to meet job market needs.

Dean of the Faculty of Humanities

Christine Gichure said the university

wants to create strong relationships

with industry to enhance quality of

training.

The university is set to launch

art-based degree programmes next

Wednesday.

“The learning model for these new

programmes has been designed

to meet desirable medium-term

and long-term industry training

requirements based on current

feedback,” said Gichure.

A study on employers’ hiring

preferences conducted last year

showed Strathmore graduates are the

most preferred.
