Skills to Grow Africa is looking to tap onto the growing influencer market in the country to nurture upcoming generation looking to venture into the niche

The career development firm, says that through the “The Everyone Influences Incubation Programme,” young people gain knowledge and experience on how to tap into the billions of funds allocated annually for influencers around the globe.

According to The Influencer Marketing Benchmark Report 2023 by Influencer Marketing Hub this model of marketing is expected to grow to $21.1 Billion in 2023 from the $16.4 billion recorded in 2022.

“I know that everyone has influence and this gift of influence that we have been given freely, which can help us earn,” said Skills to Grow Africa managing director Eunice Victoria.

The program is targeting to train 8,000 influencers by 2028 and sign up 1,000 influencers by the same period.

“I have seen what our content creators do online and think it is great. Kenya has a lot of talent. I feel that we can amplify this more such that we are tapping into our God-given gifts. I am not speaking about “clout “and deceit type of content, everyone can influence without deceiving others.’ She added.

Influencer marketing in Kenya has gained popularity in recent years as brands increasingly collaborate with popular social media influencers to promote their products and services.

These influencers, with their large and engaged followings, have the ability to sway consumer behavior and influence purchasing decisions.

From beauty and fashion to food and travel, influencers in Kenya cover a wide range of niches.
