A prosecutor wants a witness recalled to clarify hate remarks that
Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria posted on his
Facebook page in 2015.
Leonard Maingi sought the orders on Tuesday but
Kuria's lawyer Danson Mungatana opposed them saying they will delay the hearing.
The Member of Parliament faces three charges of incitement to violence, hate speech and fanning ethnic hatred.
He was also accused of linking the Gikomba terrorist attack, which killed 10, to members of the Luo community.
The Law Society of Kenya said in an application to have his bail revoked that the
words on the MP’s Facebook page could cause havoc.
