A prosecutor wants a witness recalled to clarify hate remarks that

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria posted on his

Facebook page in 2015.

Leonard Maingi sought the orders on Tuesday but

Kuria's lawyer Danson Mungatana opposed them saying they will delay the hearing.

The Member of Parliament faces three charges of incitement to violence, hate speech and fanning ethnic hatred.

He was also accused of linking the Gikomba terrorist attack, which killed 10, to members of the Luo community.

The Law Society of Kenya said in an application to have his bail revoked that the

words on the MP’s Facebook page could cause havoc.
