Text Book Centre has launched its back-to-school campaign, dubbed ‘Masaa ya Ushindi’.
The campaign provides customers with the chance to win school fees worth Sh50,000 every week, along with a grand prize of Sh100,000 in school fees for one fortunate winner.
Running until February 9, 2024, this initiative by Kenya's leading provider of educational materials, general books, and office products aims to alleviate the financial burden faced by Kenyan families amid the ongoing economic challenges.
The first draw was held on Saturday at the Text Book Centre, Sarit Centre branch where Kristina Pratt the campaign’s first winner, won Sh50,000 worth of school fees.
Sachin Varma, CEO of Text Book Centre, expressed his enthusiasm about the campaign.
"We know families face uncertainties every New Year, especially when it comes to preparing for the school season. Our back-to-school campaign aims to give our loyal customers a shot at winning school fees, easing the burden on their budgets. It's our way of saying thank you for your continued support, helping us grow together,” he said.
To enter the draw, customers are required to make a purchase worth at least Sh5,000 at any Text Book Centre store or through their online platform.
Each customer is limited to one entry, and it's important to note that IT products are not included in this promotion.
The campaign emphasizes the importance of early participation, as entries submitted after the end of the campaign period will not be eligible.
The weekly draws are scheduled to occur every Friday, until February 9, 2024.
Winners will be chosen randomly from all eligible entries, and the announcement will be made promptly after each draw. The lucky winners will be notified via phone call.
Text Book Centre encouraged everyone to take advantage of this exciting opportunity and participate in the campaign. With the chance to win substantial amounts in school fees, Varma said the campaign promises to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Kenyan families.
