President William Ruto on Friday hosted leaders from Narok County for a consultative meeting at State House ahead of his planned two-day development tour.
The tour is set to begin Tuesday.
“Our meeting focused on development projects, fostering cohesion, and enhancing collaboration between the National and county governments,” Ruto said.
“We are working with all leaders, including those from different political affiliations, to move our country forward.”
The meeting was attended by Defence Cabinet Secretary Soipan Tuya, Narok Governor Patrick Ntutu, several Principal Secretaries, elected MPs, and MCAs.
During his tour, the president will visit Emurua Dikirr, Narok West, and Narok South constituencies.
In Emurua Dikirr, he will preside over the issuance of land title deeds and launch the construction of the Shartuka-Gorgor road.
He will also visit Kilgoris constituency.
In Narok South, he will launch several projects, including the 30km Sogoo-Melelo-Olulung’a road costing Sh3.8 billion, the Sh300 million Sogoo Level 4 Hospital, and the Sh30 million Amalo Sub-County Administration Offices.
In Narok West, he will launch the 63km Ngosuani-Morjo road costing Sh4.8 billion and inspect the ongoing construction of the Sh40 million Narok West Deputy County Commissioner’s offices.
