KPLC lists counties to experience power interruptions Monday

Kenya Power has listed areas to experience power blackouts on Monday, June 24.

The utility company said the planned power interruptions will take place at diverse times between 8 am and 5 pm.

Counties to be affected are Nairobi, Kericho, Murang'a and Bomet.

Parts of Nairobi to experience the power interruption Jogoo Road (Makongeni Sec, Parts of Kaloleni Est, Ojimbo, Makongeni World Bank Quarters and adjacent customers from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

In Kericho, areas to be affected include Chepsengeny, Changoi Junction (South Rift Hosp, Jericho, Kapsuser Mkt, Chebown Mkt, Changoi Road Junction, Tegat Mkt, Kaptebeswet Mkt, Chebungongon, Kipsolu and adjacent customers from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

In Bomet, areas to experience the power blackout are Bomet Town, Stegro T/Fact, Motigo T/Fact, Greenfields T/Fact, Kisyet T/Fact, Kapkimolwa Quarry, Ajiwa Mulot, Mara Fairmount Hotel, Famous Gates Hotels, Korokwony Millers, Longisa Hosp, Tenwek Mission Hosp.

Others are Tenwek CTC, Kapkwen Mkt, Chebunyo Mkt, Siongiroi Mkt, Kabolecho Mkt, Marty Mkt, Lalela Farm, Sigor Mkt, Makimeny, Mogor, Labotiet, Silibwet Mkt, Merigi Mkt, Kembu Mkt, Mulot Mkt, Longisa Mkt, Chemaner Mkt, Tegat, Chelymos Hosp, County Government Offices, County Commissioner’s Office.

Still in Bomet Meja, Lenana, Kapoleseroi, Kataret, Kamaget, Olbutyo, Sachora, Fair Hills Hotel, Willis Hotel, Kipsarwet, Koibeyon, Cheboigong. Siloam Hosp, Kaboson Mkt, Lelaitich, Kabolwo Kitoben, Mugango, Njerian, Bomet East, Bomet Central, Chepalungu and adjacent customers from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

In Murang'a, areas to be affected include Njunu, Ndakaini, Chomo, Kahunyu, Njunu T/Fact, Kigoro Water, Kanunga, Rukungu, Ndakaini, WaKabuku, Gituro, Kiruga, Kiawangenye, Kirika, Nduti T/Fact, Kiangari, Kimandi, Wanyaga, Ndiara, Kimotho, SK and adjacent customers - from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
