A video of a screaming security guard woken up by his employer has stirred social media.

The video has since gone viral creating mixed reactions among Kenyans.

In the video seen by the Star, the security guard was filmed sleeping in a room donning his uniform.

The employer approached him and tapped him on his shoulders to wake him up.

With a torch light focused on his face, the security guard woke up shocked and started screaming while raising his hands up.

The employee calmed him down by saying "Nini ni nini wewe?" loosely translates to 'What is it? what is wrong with you?'.

The video has elicited mixed reactions on social media with Kenyans weighing in on the incident.

"These people work two jobs to try to make ends meet so taking a nap isn't a problem IMO. Plus, their job is to raise an alarm and not to protect you. He did just that, "Odd tweeted.

Mutito Kamau on his part said:

"Give him a break; pay him well enough so he does not have to work all day long and still have to guard you at night in the name of providing for his family. They need better pay, period! It is a common thing even to the big security companies".

Swervo rhymes cautioned the player against such action saying it is risky for him.

"Don’t sneak on him like that no more if he was armed at that moment otilo".

"Nothing funny about this bruh! Startling someone who was in deep sleep can cause permanent brain damage," Miss B said.
