Matatu driver dies in crash

A matatu driver was killed instantly after his car collided head-on with a lorry on the Nairobi-Nakuru highway. Naivasha police said the matatu driver and his conductor was heading to Nakuru from Nairobi when the accident occurred near Morendat, 10kms from Naivasha town. The matatu conductor sustained minor injuries. Meanwhile police in Naivasha are holding two suspected witches from Uganda who conned a woman of Sh500,000. The suspects had claimed they could help her trace her lost son. They were arrested in Kamere estate, South Lake, as they demanded a further Sh100,000 from the former flower farm worker. The 65-year-old woman had sold her land in Ndabibi to pay the two. Her son went missing ten years ago.
