Hawayuniiii! That is probably the first
thing that viewers will be hearing on 97.5 FM as Eric Omondi (of the TV show Churchill Live fame)
joins veteran sports coach and commentator Jacob ‘Ghost’
Mulee
and Joseph ‘Gidigidi’ Ogidi
as breakfast presenters on Radio Jambo, Kenya’s Home of Sports and Talk. The
trio had the guests in stitches with their hilarious antics on stage during the relaunch on Thursday night at the Sankara in Westlands, Nairobi. The
new presenters were unveiled at the event. Radio Jambo is Radio Africa’s flagship
Swahili station.

Guest of Honour Prime Minister Raila Odinga sat among other invited guests like his deputy Musalia Mudavadi, Medical Services minister Anyang Nyong’o,
former minister Raphael Tuju as Radio Africa chairman Kiprono
Kittony
recounted his struggles to get the group's radio stations off the
ground. In the audience was also Dr Richard Ayah who is the chairman of Radio Jambo and also a
columnist with the Star.

Musician Suzzanne Owiyo provided entertainment for the guests drawn from
advertising agencies, banks, leading corporates and the government.
