DRC’s Papa Wemba, Nigeria’s Tuface and Tanzania’s AY on Saturday left fans in awe at the City Stadium. The three together with Kenya's Daddy Owen were in the country for the Airtel Rising Stars concert . They performed during the Pan-African Music extravaganza held after the Airtel Rising Stars Africa Soccer Championship.

The soccer championship was meant to provide an opportunity for budding stars to showcase and gauge their raw talent with the best in the continent. The Championship focuses on identifying and nurturing soccer talent from the grassroots level onto a national stage. The tournament, billed as a ‘football extravaganza’, attracted teams from some of Africa powerhouses in the under 17 age group such as Ghana, Nigeria, Zambia and DRC.

They were pitted against upcoming nations such as Gabon, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Burkina Faso amongst others.  After the sizzling performance the party then moved to Carnivore where TuFace and Daddy Owen performed again. TuFace took the opportunity to showcase some of the songs from his latest album.
