Nokia unveils new phones in Kenya

Nokia has introduced four models of a new range of QWERTY keypad mobile phones dubbed Nokia Asha family into the Kenyan market.  The Nokia Asha 200, 201, 302 and 303 are designed as semi- smart phones with features enabling fast and easy access to the Internet, integrated social networking and messaging. “We want to deliver phones that look great and give rich in texting or browsing the Web," Said Angela Githuthu, marketing activation manager, Nokia East Africa. The phones will retail at between Sh7,300 and 13,730 depending on the model. The cheapest Asha range Nokia 200 has dual SIM capability, and a 32GB memory card space, While Nokia 303 has a QWERTY keypad, touchscreen, 1 GHz processor, 3G and WLAN.
