Nigerian businessman Antony Chinedu was yesterday deported by immigration officers after police insisted that he is a dangerous drug baron. Chinedu who had been charged with being in possession of parapharnelia used in narcotics drug business including10g of drugs and weighing scales was escorted to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport yesterday afternoon by police and immigration officers and forced onto a Nigeria-bound plane.
Kenya Airports police unit CID boss Joseph Ngisa yesterday confirmed the Nigerian was deported. "It is true that Chinedu was deported in the afternoon. He has already left the country on a Lagos-bound flight," Ngisa said.
