Horsey brothers promising thrills in home event

HORSEY siblings — Peter and Alex—are ready for the fifth round of the 
Kenyan National Rally Championship (KNRC) planned for thios weekend at
the coastal town of Diani, Peter will team up with Bella Erskine in
Mitsubishi Evo X while Alex will have Tariq Malik as his co-driver in
their “Moto Moto” Datsun pick up. The brother will compete under the
Kick Energy banner.  The recent KCB Safari Rally saw both cars set a
number. His spirited fight back to an eventual fifth overall position
was one of the talking points of the rally.

Alex, in his first outing
in the Moto Moto Datsun, also displayed strong showing before a rock
damaged his oil filter and forced the crowd pleasing pick up into
retirement. Meanwhile, the Rally Queens are promising high speed display
in classic Ford Escort Mk1 during the event. With podium finishes from
each round that Samira Khan and Chantal Young have contested in 2012,
the pressure is on them to once take the fight again to the boys.
