A 40- year -old man dropped dead in Matuu, Machakos County on Thursday.
Police officers collected the body of Wilson Mutwii from the Matuu market in the Yatta sub-county and took it to the mortuary.
The incident was reported to the Matuu police station.
According to police sources, they were alerted by the public that there was a body lying at Matuu market near Terminus bar, opposite Matuu stage.
“Police officers visited the scene and found the said body. He was rushed to Matuu Level 4 Hospital where he was confirmed dead,” a police officer privy to the matter told the Star.
The body was later moved to Mbaka Funeral home in Matuu, awaiting an autopsy.
On Wednesday, another body of a police officer was picked at Athi River Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) terminus. He is said to have died by suicide.
He was attached to the SGR terminus, Athi River.
